Use to replace the deteriorated paper-type hose that goes from the air cleaner to the front of the car on a 1975 Pontiac Grand Prix 455 engine. I cut this to length and retained the fold-over retaining clips from the original hose. With some elbow grease and working just on the edge next to the metal support wire, the clips will fit over and the end result looks like it could be an original because of the retaining ring/clips. To buy a replica original hose was over $100. I'm happy with this work-around and money saved.
