This GDF Series Dixon Ground Joint complete female complete coupling compact hose fitting is made of plated steel and connects a high-pressure air and steam hose to a spud. It has a barbed end to create a tight seal on a hose when used with a Boss clamp (not included) and a button-type male connector on the other to fit into a spud. This Boss ground joint air hammer fitting is made of plated steel for greater corrosion resistance than unplated steel, and the copper seat provides a metal-to-metal seal.
