Way more than I needed but got a dozen for what 2 would have cost at welding supply store and must say they are well made, threads cut correct and barbs are perfect.Ever have a hole in your air hose? These are the fittings to use to salvage your air hose. Very simple fitting, so it’s not hard to get it right. Just cut off the section of hose with the leak, jam one of these into the good end and secure with a hose clamp. Your quick connect will fit on the male threads. I didn’t need 12 of these but they’re handy for a number of applications, such as pumping liquids or gas.Easy fix!These arrived as one would expect and worked quite well. The description mentions a variety of uses, and includes "water". That is a little misleading because further down they reveal that these contain lead and are not suitable for potable (drinking) water. No big deal for my intended purpose and it is rather common for the less expensive fittings. Otherwise, these are perfect for compressed air.In my shop we utilize many air hoses which are usually stretched out across the floor with plenty of foot and forklift traffic and have never had a problem with this product.Great price..Safe me money..Got it before delivery date.would buy againI made a quick release connection doe my vaccum chamber. This product worked well as part of the components needed to do that.
