Def don't use your factory clamps, they tighten fine. But the slatted holes in the clamps will "shred" the silicone. I highly suggest ordering the clamps from motosport that don't have the slats in them.Beside that they're awsome and work. Barly had to trim any.I also got the carbhose/engine hose kit later one and it looks good and works well. Sorta. A pain to route correctly.
